A major area of Pemm-Corp's experimental expertise lies in the design, fabrication, and test operation of scaled models in clear acrylic, for the generation of quantitative, as well as qualitative capacity and performance criteria as applied to new developments, and to the improvement of existing process equipment.

Pemm-Corp's capabilities include: design, fabrication and construction drawings, and in certain instances, equipment fabrication services for cyclone separators, fluidized bed reactors and heat treaters, distillation and absorption columns, pneumatic conveying installiations, FCCU regenerators and reactors, product de-dusters, and essentially all equipment involving particulate solids and multiphase processes.

Pemm-Corp has a myriad of centrifugal and positive displacement blowers and compressors. All units are flexible for operation under pressure or suction and piped through rotameters, orifices, etc. as necessary. Lab equipment includes thermal conductivity detectors for gas tracing, rotary airlock feeders,  as well as a variety of pressure and flow measuring instruments, recorders, etc.

As an adjunct to experimental investigations in cyclone performance, bin flow, bed carryover, etc., Pemm-Corp has laboratory equipment including a complete set of U.S. Standard sieves, Ro-Tap machine, Bahco analyzer, scales, ovens, etc. for determining flow and fluidization related properties of powders and granular solids.

The lab consists of a 60' x 60' high bay (40 foot minimum) with a 10 ton crane rail. Adjacent to the lab is a workshop and blower/compressor room. Our in-house positive displacement blowers and compressors provide up to 4300 SCFM.
